Sac River Fishing Guide: Striper Fishing Season Soon Dave Jacobs March 5, 2017 Sacramento River fishing reports Today’s Redding California’s Sac River fishing update is courtesy of Sac River fishing guide Dave Jacobs of Professional Guide Service. Sac River Fishing Currently the flows on the Sac River near Redding California are beginning to drop. They are far from fishable levels but that should be much different in about a week or so as flows recede from the releases from Keswick Dam. The rainbow trout fishing looks to get going strong again as flows drop with the downtown Redding California section of Sac River being best. Sac River Striper Fishing The spring striper fishing season is just around the corner with the section of Sac River in and around Colusa California being best. The striper run should begin in late March and build through April as it does every spring. Flows here are very high at the time of this report and will only improve over the next week or so as releases are decreased from Keswick Dam near Redding California. Sac River fishing guide Dave Jacobs will be available for daily striper fishing trips March Through May 2017. Pictured today is a multi boat limit of striped bass from a guided trip last year on the Feather River with Dave Jacobs Professional Guide Service.
