sac river salmon fishing guide.

Current fishing update by sac river salmon fishing guide Dave Jacobs.  Currently the Sac River is un fishable yet anglers anxiously await the reopening of the sac river salmon fishing season.  That should tentatively happen on July 16th 2017 and remain open through December 16th 2017.  The season outlook has not yet been determined and the sac river ocean outlook will the first report released this spring.  While many await better fishing conditions on the sac river, there looks to be favorable fishing conditions this late winter and early spring with this seasons sac river sturgeon and striper fishing near Colusa California.

This Springs striper fishing season is inevitably going to be a high water season with many great striper fishing opportunities in and above Colusa, California. This spring’s annual Sacramento River striper run should be action packed with many stripers making their annual spring migration up the Sacramento and Feather river’s to spawn. Anglers can expect to see many more stripers in the rivers to catch in late March, April and early May.
