We are catching fresh clipped and non fin clipped king salmon on the Sacramento River daily. These are some of the nicest salmon we have landed in October in many years. The kings we are landing this weekend are bright and the fillets are deep red, excellent for taking home after your guided Sacramento River salmon fishing trip. Fresh sardine wrapped kwikfish style lures are still the best bet throughout the trip and bites have been happening all day with many kings coming into the net in the afternoon.. The new late Fall Sacramento River king salmon are the biggest of the year and will begin to show in November and December. Sacramento River salmon fishing.
