Sacramento River salmon fishing guides.

Many Sacramento River salmon fishing guides are putting in long hard days here in early August looking for more Sacramento River king salmon.  The salmon fishing started out very slow early in the season as July came and went very quietly, but August is starting to show some signs of life with a few more large king salmon beginning to show.  Sacramento River salmon fishing guides like guide Dave Jacobs of Professional Guide Service has found the plug bite to be best on producing fresh king salmon for his clients in August.  One of the better choices has been the fresh sardine wrapped Brads’s Killer Fish plugs in the KF-15 and KF-16 sizes.  The bite is not red hot all day but the bites do come anytime of the day right now especially if you get in front of a salmon that has been left alone for awhile.  These king salmon on the Sacramento River are fresh and hard fighting this time of year and salmon fishing only looks to improve in the coming weeks.
