Sacramento River striper fishing report 03-14-2016.

We are right in the middle of prime sturgeon fishing on the Sacramento River and the striper fishing will be right on its heels with some of the best fishing opportunities just ahead in April. We have been busy the last couple of months with the tremendous Northern California and Southern Oregon steelhead fishing, and the sacramentofishing.com team has also been very busy chasing Sacramento River sturgeon and huge stripers in February and early March with great success. We will be targeting sturgeon and stripers everyday through May and we have several great guides for you to choose from daily.

Many of you that have known me or fished with me personally over the last 12 plus seasons on many Northern California rivers have fished with myself and Mike Rasmussen on some tremendous fishing trips. Only you know how great those fishing days have been and many will know in the future. Recently Mike has taken anglers and caught more sturgeon and huge stripers on some of our Northern California rivers that the numbers are just too unbelievable to post. However that is all about to change.

If you would like to get out and catch your own big sturgeon and striper, call us today to book a small or even a large group. We can take you and your guest out on a unforgettable guided fishing trip and make more great fishing memories for us all.

The heavy rains have stopped here and our rivers are very high at the time of this report and will very soon be ready to fish again as reported by Sacramento River striper fishing guide Dave Jacobs.   Dry, sunny weather is in the forecast this week and many of our rivers and streams will calm and drop into fishable conditions nicely. The high muddy water will be great for the upcoming sturgeon fishing as it always is. We are offering both day and night sturgeon and striper fishing trips now.

We are very lucky to have some of California’s trophy bass fisheries right in Northern California’s backyard. We now are proud to announce that we are offering fully guided bass fishing trips for anglers looking to catch a trophy bass of a lifetime. As you can see in many of our photos we are un-relentless in our year round pursuit of trophy fish, from stripped bass, king salmon, steelhead and even Northern California largemouth bass. If largemouth bass interest you like the ones in this pic, call me direct so I can pair you up with one of the best sacramentofishing.com guide John, weekdays or weekends. This is the time to book your trophy largemouth bass trip with our Northern California bass fishing guides. If you are traveling from out of state don’t worry, we can arrange and direct you to the very best largemouth bass fishing happening in the region.

Pictured is Kyla Melcher giving the “fish like a girl” a new meaning with another one of the many massive stripers over 20 pounds that have been caught and released with Mike before this last river rise. I will share many more pictures with you all in the coming hours and days.
