Sacramento River salmon fishing 10-28-2015.

The Sacramento River Fall run king salmon continue to move up to the spawning grounds making for fantastic salmon fishing this week.  The salmon fishing this week has been very good with great limits of king salmon with guide Dave Jacobs Professional Guide Service.  We have been limiting on good kings to 25 pounds back bouncing sardine wrapped plugs like the large KF-16 Brads killerfish lures or roe/puffball combos.  Drifting is also still producing some kings for us along with the back bouncing techniques.  The Sacramento River has now dropped to 5000 cfs from Keswick Dam and is becoming very low but very fishable with experienced jet boaters.   This Fall run is definitely looking as it will overlap the early arriving Late Fall Sacramento River king salmon where the best fishing is in November and December.  The biggest and brightest king salmon of the year are on the way and will be here for you to catch seven days a week in November and December as reported by Sacramento River salmon fishing guide Dave Jacobs.
