Sacramento salmon fishing report.

We are now following large schools of king salmon daily throughout the upper Sacramento River above Chico, Ca.  This week has produced some of the best salmon fishing of the season with what looks like more to come this upcoming week.  September has always been one of the peak months to salmon fish on the Sac River and October is shaping up to be spectacular.  We are seeing multiple hook ups on king salmon daily from 15 to 21 pounds with some very large 22 to 30 plus pond kings in the mix of our daily catches.  Pictured is another large king salmon landed with sacramentofishing.com guide Mike Rasmussen yesterday.  Back bouncing large Brads KF-16 Killerfish lures with a fresh sardine wrap is all it takes to hook the big kings on the Sacramento River.  Back bouncing roe/puffball combos are also working well at this time as reported by Sacramento River salmon fishing guide Dave Jacobs.  Call guide Dave Jacobs direct to book your Sacramento River salmon fishing vacation now.  We are available seven days a week for Sacramento River king salmon fishing.
