9-7-2015 Sac River fishing report.

There has been a very large push of fresh king salmon in the Sacramento River above Chico at this time.  The season has started out slow but is now really picking up with Sacramento River salmon biting throughout the day.  The best bets have been fresh sardine wrapped lures or roe/puffball combos.  Back Bouncing has been best with a few salmon picked up drifting roe or under a bobber.  The very best time to come salmon fishing is now with September and early to mid October being the best times to salmon fish.  River flows and river temps are great for Sacramento River salmon fishing as reported by Sac River salmon fishing guide Dave Jacobs.  Pictured today is Bob Novembri with one of todays nice Sacramento River king salmon caught with guide Dave Jacobs of Professional Guide Service.
