Sacramento fishing 8-18-2015.

There has been a noticeable group of king salmon moving into the upper spawning grounds at this time improving Sacramento fishing 8-18-2015.  I have noticed that while salmon fishing has not been as easy as past August’s, it has been very rewarding as you begin to put more and more salmon in the box.  This seasons run is building in August and peaking in September and October. The new run of late Fall king salmon will run in November and December right up to the closure on December 16th. Pictured is another fresh Sacramento River king salmon that just arrived, caught by guide John Pearl recently.
