August 13, 2015 Sacramento River salmon fishing guides.

Currently the king salmon fishing on the Sacramento River has been picking up with a few new salmon moving into the upper river. The best Sacramento River salmon fishing is August, September and October as reported by Sacramento River fishing guide Dave Jacobs.  Pictured is Roan and dad Bob Burns with one of his Sacramento River king salmon caught with sacramentofishing.com guide Mike Rasmussen recently.  The Sacramento River king salmon are running average 15 to 20 pounds with the larger 20 to 25 pound salmon coming in occasionally.  Sacramento River kings are taking fresh sardine wrapped Brads Killerfish lures or roe/puffball combos.
