August 2015 Sacramento River fishing guide.

There has been quite a few more salmon caught this week so far and it looks like the salmon fishing is improving daily as reported by Sacramento River salmon fishing guide Dave Jacobs.  The very best months to salmon fish here is August, September and October with August and September providing the freshest king salmon of the Fall run.  The best bets this week have been sardine wrapped Brad’s Killifish plugs and back bounced roe/pufball combos.  Pictured is sacramentofishing.com’s guide Kenny Turner, who’s big king took one of Brad’s large KF-16 Killerfish plugs while bacbouncing on the lower Sacramento River.  We are available seven days a week for all sized groups both large multi boat groups and small parties for the entire Sacramento River salmon fishing season through December 16th.
