Sacramento River guided salmon fishing update.

The 2015 Sacramento River salmon season has been set and will open on July 16, 2015.  The Sacramento River will open 150 feet below the Sycamore boat ramp below the Red Bluff Diversion Dam.  This years 2015 ocean abundance estimates are out with the Sacramento River estimates at 652,000 king salmon, up 25% from last years early season estimates.  This years salmon fishing season on the Sacramento River will have one significant change in the possession limit for anglers. Anglers will now be able to possess four king salmon, up from two. The daily bag limit of just two salmon per day is the same. Sacramento River salmon fishing guide Dave Jacobs is now actively booking salmon fishing trips for the 2015 season. Dave Jacobs is available 7 days a week for your salmon fishing vacation.  All primetime salmon fishing days are now open and available for you to book. All size groups are welcome, both small and large.
