Chetco River steelhead fishing guides.

Currently the flows and fishing conditions are very good for winter steelhead fishing on Southern Oregon’s Chetco River near Brookings Oregon.  This weekend the drift boat fishing picked up and fishing has been improving Saturday, Sunday and Monday December 29th.  This is the time of year that traditionally marks the start to the Northern California and Southern Oregon steelhead fishing season as reported by Chetco River steelhead fishing guide Dave Jacobs.  Pictured is Todd Mckenize from Sacramento with a very nice late December Chetco River steelhead he caught drifting with guide Gary Farley. Anglers can expect best Chetco River steelhead fishing January and February and March.
