36 pound Sacramento River king salmon.

Lucky angler Randy Warner of Washoe Valley, Nevada landed this trophy on the Sacramento River with Sacramento River salmon fishing guide Dave Jacobs on October 1, 2014 using a sardine wrapped plug.  As you can see in the photo, there are not only very large king salmon in now but very fresh and great eating kings as well. All of our boat limit was made up of fresh king salmon with beautiful red fillets at the end of the day for the Warner’s to take home.  The fall run will continue through October and the new late Fall run king salmon will arriver in November and December.
