Sacramento River fishing report 9-19-2014.

The very best Sacramento River salmon fishing is happening now.  Our team of guides are catching limits or near limits daily, most salmon average 16 to 22 pounds with larger salmon hitting the nets at 30 plus pounds.  Best fishing has been with sardine wrapped lures and back bounced roe from Anderson Balls Ferry downriver through Hamilton City. The rest of  September and October look to be prime for fishing as reported by Sacramento River salmon fishing guide Dave Jacobs.  Pictured is Jerie Semion with one of her limit king salmon she caught with guide Dave Jacobs of Professional Guide Service.
