Sacramento River salmon fishing report 9-4-2014.

There has been a tremendous improvement in the quantity and quality of Sacramento River salmon the last few days.  The salmon run is building with many new arriving king salmon over 30 pounds being landed with Dave Jacobs Professional Guide Service this week.  All salmon are 16 to 22 pounds with several king salmon tipping the scales well over 30 pounds!  Pictured today is Chuck Jones with just one of the several large king salmon caught with us today on sardine wrapped lures and roe.  The entire month of September looks like there will be very good salmon fishing on the Sacramento River as reported by Sacramento River salmon fishing guide Dave Jacobs.
