Sacramento River salmon fishing report.

The salmon fishing today for Dave Jacobs Professional Guide Service was outstanding, with our guide boats hooking double digit king salmon to 25 pounds throughout the day.  Tuesday started off with a double hook up on back bounced sardine wrapped lures.  23 king salmon were hooked today between just two of our trips on the water.  Pictured is the Burr group from Petaluma and San Diego, Ca. with six of their 14 kings hooked today with John Pearl. The salmon hooking and catching action looks to be really ramping up from Tuesdays action. In two days of fishing the Burr group hooked 21 king salmon and boated nine adult king salmon with Dave Jacobs and John Pearl of Dave Jacobs Professional Guide Service. We have just too many pics from two of our boats to fit on the site at one time from Tuesday so we will put up a few at a time for the next couple of days.  Late August and all of September are peak times to come salmon fishing as reported by Sacramento River salmon fishing guide Dave Jacobs.
