Sacramento River salmon fishing.

Even though the Sacramento River salmon fishing has been up and down the last few days, there  seems to be some really nice salmon salmon starting to show in the lower river.  There are not a lot of salmon around but the early run king salmon are starting to show and the quality of salmon is great.  Here is a king salmon from todays trip with Don Tonelli, this king grabbed a sardine wrapped kf-15 Brads Killerfish lure. Look for salmon fishing to improve in the coming days on the Sacramento River as August is traditionally a great time to catch king salmon as reported by Sacramento River salmon fishing guide Dave Jacobs.
