Trinity River Salmon Fishing June 10, 2014 Dave Jacobs June 10, 2014 Sacramento River fishing reports Trinity River salmon fishing June 10, 2014 The flows have now steadily dropped on the Trinity River from 1500 cfs down to 650 cfs. Flows are going to steadily drop down to 450 cfs this month. Spring salmon fishing from the bank in high flows has been slow with few Spring salmon coming in at this time. The Trinity River will be at very good boating levels now and June and July is traditionally a very good time to target Spring run Trinity River salmon and Summer run Trinity River steelhead. Back bouncing roe or sardine wrapped plugs like the Brad’s Killer Fish in the #14 and #15 sizes are good bets for salmon. Back trolling small hot shot lures in various color combos for Summer steelhead is productive with Trinity River salmon fishing guide Dave Jacobs. Pictured above is an excellent example of the quality Summer steelhead that can be caught and released on the Trinity River.
